Wednesday, the JV girls played Renbrook and tied 14-14. It was a good game and a great start to the season. Lulu was our leading scorer with 6 points. She also was the first to score in the game. Janessa and Jinny did a great job on defense and were very aggressive. Lulu and Natalie worked well together guarding the basket at the forward position, while Julia led the team at point guard by passing the ball fluidly and moving the offensive along. IMS was in the lead until the fourth quarter when Renbrook caught up with a surge of points. Indian Mountain athletes tired late in the game, and the girls look forward to a rematch against Renbrook following a few more weeks of conditioning and practice.  The JV girls play their next game at Chase Collegiate on Friday.
