JV girls basketball defeated Chase Collegiate School 22-6 on Friday, making it the team’s first  victory of the season. Janessa led the team by scoring 12 points, making some great steals, and rushing for an exciting breakaway score.  Natalie and Lulu did a great job at the forward position, putting their new boxing-out skills to good use during the game. Sophie and Jinny were also very aggressive, managing to get their hands on the ball a number of times, which resulting in numerous jump balls. Overall, the team played well together and are getting in better shape with each game. The girls play their next game away against Rudolph Steiner School on Wednesday, January 20.
