Our annual LEAP (Leave Everything and Play!) Day was filled with jumping, running, laughs, and perhaps most importantly… ice cream! Our Pre-K through fourth grade classes gathered for Morning Circle on Monday morning and were delightfully surprised by the announcement that LEAP Day had finally arrived.

LEAP Day occurs once per school year and is a chance for our Lower School students to spend all day outside having fun with their classmates. This year’s event featured basketball, soccer, obstacle courses, and a final relay race, all carefully planned out in advance by fitness instructors “Coach” Meilinger and Mr. Horosky. After a triumphant day, students were treated to ice cream served by the Head of School Ms. Soja and the Head of Lower School Ms. Tedder.

View all the fun!

A special thank you to our ninth grade mentors who spent all day with us on our Lower Campus. They assisted with the setup and breakdown of the day, acted as team leaders in events, and ensured every student had an unforgettable time.

Before students departed for the day, everyone gathered one final time to present the Best Sportsmanship awards to fourth graders Charlotte Ramsay and Max Ullman. We are so proud of the work our community put into making this event possible and what a joyful way to celebrate the final weeks of school!
