The Indian Mountain volleyball players demonstrated excellent skill and improved play in their victory over Canterbury on Wednesday.  During the first game, Jenna recorded eight consectutive aces in a row while Yu Jin worked to set the game, earned numerous assists, and helped the team win that opening match.  Yu Jin went on to dominate serve in the second game as she earned points on 10 consecutive serves in a row.  Both Jenna and Lulu earned kills during game two.  Finya stepped in to set in game 3, which is a skill she had been working on in practice, and she had three assists.  Her efforts were helped by Jinny, moved fluidly and had an impressive dig during the game.

The most outstanding Falcon contribution came from Fuko, who played with intensity throughout the first three games and was instrumental in helping newer players with rotations on the court.  She was a source of positive energy, even when she was on the bench for the fourth and final game.

Following the match, the Falcons were excited about their victory and looking forward to their match against Oakwood Friends on Friday.
