Boys Varsity Basketball had a tough test in their home opener against a talented Renbrook team.  After going down 11-5 at the end of the first quarter, the Falcons surged to a 14-11 lead.  Unfortunately, the Renbrook point guard proved to be too much for the team to handle, scoring 22 points in the 38-27 defeat.  Despite the final score, the team showed a lot of heart, and played well considering they only had one day of practice after the Winter Break.  Seven different players scored for IMS, including six from Michael and four each from Daniel and Ben.  Jon also played an excellent game coming off the bench, sparking the team’s second quarter rally with aggressive play, great defense and five points.  The Falcons look forward to their next game against Salisbury at home on Friday.
