On Friday, the Falcons traveled to Rumsey for their final match of the season against the Blue Dogs. Rumsey took an early competition lead by earning the doubles point.  It was the first time this season he Falcons lost the doubles point. All three of the IMS doubles teams lost their matches following intensely contested games.

In singles competition, Alton, playing #1, held off a very strong opponent to win by a score of 8-6. John continued his string of wins by defeating his opponent by a score of 8-3. Derek ultimately lost to his opponent 8-5, but Maria played strong at #4 singles and earned an 8-2 victory. Alejandro and Zach both lost to their opponents despite playing well. The Falcons and Blue Dogs split the singles competition 3-3, but Rumsey walked away with the 4-3 win. It was the second loss of the season for the IMS team.

The team hopes to end the season on a winning note when they face Hotchkiss on Wednesday, May 19.
